Who We Are
Do the Write Thing (DtWT) is a violence prevention program founded and sponsored by the Kuwait-America Foundation that amplifies student voices.
The strength of DtWT has been the large number of micro-conversations that have been sparked by the stories and writings of our students, connecting them to educators, community leaders, and policy makers.
Since its inception, over 3.4 million middle school students across 31 communities nationwide have participated in DtWT.
Do the Write Thing is a proven program that can mitigate the negative impact of violence on a child when teachers, educators and volunteers open pathways of communication.
DtWT is a non-partisan initiative. Just one mission to stop the violence.
